Bourbon County commissioners split 2-2 Monday on a resolution to pay $90,139.25 from the county’s jail sales tax fund for the sheriff’s office’s move to a new technology provider. Commissioners agreed to table the item for one week.
Commissioner David Beerbower introduced and read his proposed resolution, which acknowledges the sheriff’s office’s transfer of its technology services and support functions. It would authorize payment to Advantage Computer Enterprises of Iola for equipment, implementation and startup costs tied to the transfer.
