FORT SCOTT - Three Fort Scott businesses are getting a financial lift this fall after city commissioners voted unanimously Sept. 15 to award $15,000 in small business grants.
The 5-0 vote came after nearly an hour of presentations from seven business owners competing for the money in the program's third-quarter cycle.
